Time Inc will slash 600 jobs in the next two weeks.
The Christian Science Monitor will end it's daily print edition after 100 years of publishing - and go "on-line" only...
Gannet to cut 10% of it's workforce - or about 3000 jobs... Gannett being the largest newspaper chain in the country...
