A Death in the Backyard
Sandi yells to me in our new downstairs office:
"Did you hear that crash? Something big just flew into the window!"
I looked out the back door to see a large bird twitching in the grass."Did you hear that crash? Something big just flew into the window!"
He's very heavy in my hands and very warm, without a pulse.
Rufus yells out the window upstairs:
"Is it dead, Daddy?"
"Yes he's dead."
He's as dead as a Ruffed Grouse that just attempted to fly through that window where there's a big hole in the screen....

Beautiful Day Here in DC
I'm here in our nations headquarters working on a super secret mission for fellow photographer and friend Bryan Whitney.
If you're in Ann Arbor go check out his show - this image from India is 10 feet x 13 feet and printed on silk. Spectacular.
He also has an open studio in NYC next weekend
